Discover London’s famous and historic sites, including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square with two guided visits inside Westminster Abbey and the Tower of London. Changing of the Guard weather permitting (alternate days during winter months).

DAY 01

Program Itinerary

  1. 9.00am -  A qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guide for London (myself) will pick you up from your hotel in a Central London Location.    

  2. 9.30am - I will take you on a guided visit inside Westminster Abbey, a Gothic monastery church that has been the traditional site for coronations and burials for many of our English monarchs.With the oldest parts dating to the year 1050, the Abbey contains some of the most glorious medieval architecture in London. Over 3000 people are buried and commemorated here included Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens and Charles [sensitive content]2011 The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Catherine Middleton) were married here.

  3. 11.00am -The Changing of the Guard (weather permitting, alternate days between August and March).This is the most famous ceremony associated with Buckingham Palace. In this - one of the oldest and most familiar of all royal ceremonies - a new Guard exchanges duty with the old Guard, drawn from one of the senior regiments of Foot Guards.I will show you the best stops for that amazing photo shot. 

  4. 1 pm - Stop for lunch or a snack (to be discussed on the day).

  5. 2 pm - Henrietta will guide you inside the Tower of London, one of the most famous and well-preserved historic buildings in the world. Since the first foundations were laid more than 900 years ago, the castle has been constantly improved and extended and evolved into the splendid example of fortress, prison, place of execution, arsenal, Royal Mint and jewel house.The Tower of London has been home to the Crown Jewels since the 14th century and the Jewel House is an essential part of any visit to the Tower today.You will see some of the world's largest and most historic diamonds set in the regalia.

  6. 4pm - Tour finishes at your Hotel.
