Start at 7 pm, as per the day's prevailing weather conditions. Drive about 25 km out of the city for better chances and open viewing areas for the Aurora Borealis.
Walk through the Arctic forest to a lake where light pollution is lower and is a great spot to step out onto the ice for a view of Aurora Borealis over the trees.
Learn about the "fox fires”, (Finns call the Northern Lights). Get the chance to witness the Northern Lights.
