  • Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve expand_more
    • Leave Nairobi in the morning and depart via the great rift valley to Masai Mara, crossing the Loita plains

    • See red-clad Masai warriors tend their multi-coloured herds amongst plains game. 

    • Arrive at Mara in time for lunch. 

    • Do game viewing en-route to Mara Camp for lunch. 

    • Relish an afternoon game drive. 

    Dinner and overnight at the camp.

  • Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve expand_more
    • Proceed for morning and afternoon game viewing inside the Park with your African safari guide/driver.

    • Search for the wild game black manned lion for which Mara is famous for, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, leopard, grants gazelle are quite common, even the rare rhino might come out of the thicket for you, hyenas are plentiful.

    • Extend your drive to the hippo point where schools of hippo submerge on the approach of vehicles only to surface seconds later to shot and gamble their displeasure as the crocodile sunbathes on the river banks mouths agape. 

    • Between meals, there is an optional visit to the Masai villages for an insight into their culture.

  • Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi to Amboseli expand_more
    • Early morning game viewing drive searching for any wild game you might have missed previously.

    • Eat breakfast at the lodge and depart for Nairobi with game viewing en-route as you leave the park. 

    • Consume lunch in Nairobi (at the Carnivore Restaurant $40 per person) and proceed to Amboseli at the foot of the mighty snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak.

    • Fun with game viewing en-route to the camp.

    Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

  • Day 4: Amboseli expand_more
    • Savour morning and afternoon game viewing inside the park. Amboseli is a photogenic park and hosts a great number of game drives to see the lion, elephant and the splendid cheetah. 

    Meals and overnight at camp.

  • Day 5: Ngorongoro expand_more
    • Rise up for a morning game viewing drive in Amboseli. 

    • Eat breakfast and cross the border of Tanzania.

    • Stop in Arusha for lunch.

    • In the afternoon, proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

    • Do game viewing en-route to the camp.

  • Day 6: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Relish breakfast at the camp and depart for half-day crater tours with a picnic lunch.

    • Depart for the vast Serengeti plains National Reserve via Olduvai Gorge, site of the famous archaeologist Dr Leakey where fossils of human and animal believed to be over 2 million years are seen. 

    • Stop for lunch en-route after arriving at Serengeti in the afternoon. 

    • Get out for afternoon game viewing inside the park, which is known to host great herds of plains game.

  • Day 7: Serengeti National Park expand_more
    • Enjoy the morning and afternoon game drives inside the Park, taking you to different parts of the park famous for the annual migration when millions of wildebeest (gnus) and zebra set off for Masai Mara in search of better grazing grounds and water.

  • Day 8: Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park expand_more
    • Start with morning game viewing drive in Serengeti.

    • Eat breakfast and depart for Lake Manyara National Park.

    • Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Manyara camp.

    • Do afternoon game viewing drive inside the park, look for a variety of wild game. You are likely to shoot a picture of the curious tree-climbing lions. 

    Dinner and overnight at the camp.

  • Day 9: Arusha to Nairobi expand_more
    • Rise up for early morning game viewing at the park. 

    • Return to the lodge for breakfast, after which you will depart for Arusha.

    • Stop for lunch at Arusha Impala Hotel. 

    • In the afternoon, proceed and cross the border and onwards to arrive in Nairobi early evening.

    • Transfer to the airport for your flight.
