Visit Mount Elgon, an extinct shield volcano located in the Kenyan-Ugandan border. Look for a variety of small antelopes and duikers, as well forest monkeys, including the black-and-white colobus and blue monkey. Travel to the lower slopes of the park and spot some elephants and buffalos.

- Arrive at the park by 6:00 pm.

- Rise early in the morning and start the day excursion after breakfast.
- Explore the lower circuit of the park.
- Visit Chesurur waterfalls, Kitum and Makingeny caves.

- Continue to the Elephant platform and spot some elephants.
