Luis designed a half-day for us that exactly met our needs. He was knowledgeable and interesting. Communication was easy through the website and by email. He showed us the quick highlights of Bilbao -- just what we wanted.

Luis is a knowledgable tour guide, good knowledge of history, and a gentleman. I think I can’t visit those amazing places without his guidance.

My wife and I were looking for a guide of Pamplona as part of a "gentle Camino tour". Luis was excellent to work with and  gave us multiple options as we travelled from Roncesvalles to Pamplona. He is a teacher and very proud of his Basque heritage. His English is excellent. He took care to customize our day specifically to our needs and attentive during the tour to whatever we needed. At the end of our day, we felt as if we had made a new friend and someone we would want to see again. You will not find a better guide in this region. Highest recommendation.

I have made 63 trips to Spain over the years. Although Spain is a modern country, its not the kind of of place where you want to just fly in, rent a car, drive off and see what happens. The tourism infrastructure in Spain can be complicated with a variety of unpleasant surprises. Parking issue, odd attraction opening hours, and tricky traffic are just a few of the challenges travelers face. Whenever I can, I hire a local guide, especially when I am going to be traveling outside of the major urban centers. This was my first experience with Tour HQ and with Luis. I was very impressed with both. The booking process through TOUR HQ was straight-forward and effective. After my booking, I received a phone call from Tour HQ just following-up to find out if I had any questions or concerns. Following that, I worked directly with Luis to plan our excursions in the Santander area of Spain. Luis was great from the beginning, sending me detailed itinerary options that met the general requirements I set out. His English communication skills are flawless, and he has a vast knowledge of this region of Spain. I was traveling with my 86 year old father in law. Luis was exceptionally kind and flexible throughout our excursions, ensuring that he was comfortable and tailoring the experience for him. In addition to the views and places that we visited, he took us to some great "out of the way" restaurants that we would never have been able to find on our own. His vehicle was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making travel during the dog-days of August very comfortable. His historical, and cultural understanding of the region provided us with insights we could never have experienced on our own. Above all, Luis is a really nice guy that I plan to staying in touch with. I can't recommend him enough as a guide and general travel consultant.
