DAY 01

Barcelona Electric Scooter Tour

  • Start the tour with a trip to Gaudi’s iconic masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. Get to listen to the Barcelona guide explain why it has been under construction for over 100 years and why it is still not finished.

  • Continue the tour along one of the most popular avenues in Barcelona, the Passeig de Gràcia.

  • Admire several of the city's most celebrated pieces of architecture from artists such as Antoni Gaudí, Josep Puig I Cadafalch, Lluís Domènech I Montaner, and many others.

  • Glide along the street, soak up the rich historical atmosphere and listen to fascinating stories about the city’s past.

  • Let yourself be immersed by the artistic environment of the city and get familiar with Modernisme period life and the fantastic expansion of Barcelona in its golden ages. 

  • Slide all the way downtown to stop by the city’s Arc de Triumph next, which was built for the 1888 Barcelona World Fair. 

  • Then, head over to Ciutadella Park. Ride through the green heart of the city to reach the famous Cascade waterfall fountain and see colourful parrots flying around.

  • After that, visit the Olympic Port built for the Olympic Games in 1992. Learn about the Olympic Games and how the entire coastline was reshaped into the beautiful and charming beaches of today.

  • Ride alongside Barceloneta beach, breath some fresh air from the ocean and enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful coast and the skyline of the city that will make the best background for your snapshots.

  • Finally, travel back towards the Eixample district, opportunity to admire fantastic examples of urban architecture and get more familiar with the city’s bustling environment, passing by La Monumental, the last bullfighting arena in Catalonia, which was still in use until 2011.

  • Minimum age to take part in a tour is 10 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that by local laws the minimum age to drive a Segway is 16 years old - underaged participants can join the tour with electric bicycles (tour price remains the same).

  • Helmets are mandatory and rental is free. A training session will be given so that every rider has enough skills to drive in the city. This activity is forbidden for people under the influence of alcohol, drugs or strong medicine.

  • Valid I.D. or passport is required at the time of the tour (a copy is also accepted).

  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide.

  • Not suitable for pets

  • Infants must not sit on laps

  • Infant seats not available

  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers

  • Not recommended for people with heart conditions

  • According to local laws, tours have no limit of participants, but travel in groups of 6 participants + 1 guide, with a separation of no less than 50 metres (164 ft) in between groups.

  • Minimum weight for Segway riders is 45 kg (100 lbs) and the maximum is 117 kg (260 lbs).

  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately.

  • Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended. In case of rain, raincoats are provided, nonetheless, recommend guests to bring their own. In case of severe weather, the option of an alternative date and time convenient for both parties will be given.

  • Please note that tours start and finish on time, so the guides require all participants to arrive 15 minutes before to check-in and practice. In case of late arrival, the tour may be postponed to another available time slot.

  • Please note that routes may be altered due to interferences in the itinerary outside of the guide's responsibility.

  • Tours may be operated by a multi-lingual guide.
