"Of love and other demons" is the story of Sierva María de Todos los Ángeles, the only child of a decaying noble family in a 18th century South American seaport that was injailed in a convent after been bitted by a rabid dog. Father Cayetano had to take care of him, but in the middle of that, he fell in love, and it is not long until Sierva María joins him in his fevered misery. Like this world famous story full of love, passion, sadness, treason, inquisition and injustice, Quito is an undiscovered city for the eyes of locals and foreigners.
