• The Church of Our Lady, situated on Frue Plads public square in central Copenhagen, next to the historic main building of the University of Copenhagen. 

• The Old (Gammeltorv) & The New (Kongens Nytorv) Square, a common space along the Strøget pedestrian zone.

• Inner City or Indre By, also known as Copenhagen Center or K or Downtown Copenhagen, is an administrative district (by) in central Copenhagen.

• Medieval City: Strøget, the 1.8km (1 mile) pedestrian shopping street with endless shops, street vendors, buskers and cellar galleries.

• Christiansborg Castle, a palace and government building on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen.

• The Secret War Harbour and the Copenhagen Harbour (including Nordhavnen - North Harbour, Sydhavnen - South Harbour, and Inderhavnen - Inner Harbour).

• The Stock Exchange: The Nasdaq Copenhagen, formerly known as the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, is an international marketplace for Danish securities, including shares, bonds, treasury bills and notes, and financial futures and options.

• The Royal Danish Theater, founded in 1748, first served as the king's theatre and then as the country's theatre.

• The Copenhagen Opera House, the national opera house of Denmark, is among the most modern opera houses in the world.

• Amalienborg Castle, home to the Danish royal family, consists of four identical classical palace façades.

• The Marble Church or Frederik's Church, an Evangelical Lutheran Church in Copenhagen, located due west of Amalienborg Palace. 

• The Little Mermaid, a bronze statue by Edvard Eriksen, depicting a mermaid becoming human. It is dominated by the star-shaped fortress Kastellet, one of the best-preserved of its kind in Northern Europe.

• The Gefion Fountain, a large fountain on the harbour front in Copenhagen.

• Nyboder, a historic row house district of former Naval barracks.

• The King's Garden, or Rosenborg Castle Gardens, is the oldest and most visited park in central Copenhagen.

• The Rosenborg Castle, a renaissance castle, originally built as a country summerhouse in 1606.

• The Round Tower or Rundetaarn, a 17th-century tower located in central Copenhagen.
