Begin with visiting the Berlin Wall- Niederkirchner Strasse to look at one of three locations where longer stretches of the erstwhile Wall are still visible. Learn the history behind its construction, the division of the city in 1945, and what it was like to live in a divided city.

Then, head to Hansa Studios, one of the world's most famous and most legendary music recording studios. Bowie may have been the first world-famous international artist to work here, but he wasn't the last.

Next, go to Potsdamer Platz, a location that is symbolic of the Cold War and the divided city. Here, see the infamous death strip from what it used to be and what it looked like, and how it may have influenced Bowie's creative process.

Afterwards, proceed to Bowie's former home, a spacious apartment in an unassuming building is what Bowie called home between 1976 and 1978. 

Lastly, go to Anderes Ufer, a gay bar located next to Bowie's former home, is where he regularly went for a nightcap. You can do the same.
