2 Hours Culture tour itinerary for Trier: Discover The German City On The Banks Of Moselle
Known for its well-preserved Roman and medieval buildings, Trier could be the oldest city in Germany with a Celtic past. Starting from one of the best preserved Roman gates north of the Alps, take a stroll through the streets and visit markets, cathedrals, castles and museums to learn more about the city's culture and heritage.
Start at Porta Nigra, and then proceed through the main street to the central market.
Have a look at the cathedral and surroundings.
Walk to the basilica and the episcopal castle with its magnificent garden.
