DAY 01

Prague - cesky krumlov

  • Go south of Prague with your Czech tour guide.

  • Visit the castle of Hluboka and walk around the beautiful surroundings.

  • Move towards the town of Cesky Krumlov for an overnight stay in the hotel. 

  • After that, visit the Krumlov Chateau, the second to the Prague Castle, a large park of French design, the Rococo theatre and the Egon Schiele Museum. 

  • In the end, enjoy dinner at a traditional restaurant. 

DAY 02

Cesky Krumlov - telc - brno

  • After breakfast, drive to another medieval town, Trebon.

  • On the way, you may stop at Zlata Koruna, just 5 km from Cesky Krumlov. 

  • Next, sightsee around the town near the banks of fish ponds. 

  • After that, you will stop to see this beautiful medieval UNESCO towns of Telc and Slavonice.

  • Later that afternoon, arrive at Brno - the capital of Moravia.

  • Back to the hotel for some rest and then, do some sightseeing around the hotel in the evening. 

DAY 03

Brno-Buchlov Castle - uherske hradiste

  • Start with an hour drive to Buchlovice with your Czech tour guide. 

  • Continue to the little historical town of Velehrad, one of the most important pilgrimage site of the Czech Republic. 

  • Go to the historical town of Uherske Hradiste for wine tasting at a private wine cellar along with a local folk music group, adding oomph to the evening.

  • Finally, enjoy a farewell dinner with the group.

  • On your way back, visit the popular Karst area of Moravian Karst, famous for its numerous caves, approximately 1100.

  • Hluboka was founded in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 19th century in a Neogothic style reminiscent of Windsor Castle.

  • Cesky Krumlov is the best-preserved medieval town in the Czech Republic. 

  • Prague Castle is the largest residence in Bohemia. It was built in the 13th century and converted into a Renaissance chateau in the 16th century. 

  • Zlata Koruna was founded as the Cistercian monastery by King Premysl Otakar II in 1263. Recently exhibition of Czech literature is placed there.

  • The area that encompasses the town of Trebon is called Trebonsko and is an important Landscape Protected Area with a large network of fish pond dating from the 15th century and interconnecting canals. Fish specialities offered by some local restaurants are worth trying. An excursion to one of the oldest Czech breweries Regent, founded in 1379, will be of particular interest.

  • You can visit Buchlovice Chateau (18th-century Italian chateau, still containing most of its original Rococo furniture left behind by the family when they fled to Austria in 1945) and surrounding park.

  • Buchlov Castle is one of the oldest castles in Moravia. The area between the White Carpathians and Chriby Hills is called Slovacko, and it is here where the most distinctive cultural traditions in the Czech Republic still live. This area is also famous for the ceremonial attire of boys and girls during the largest celebration of every village called Hody.

  • Velehrad is one of the most important pilgrimage sites of the Czech Republic. Its cathedral dating from the 9th century is a dominant of the area.

  • Byci Skala Cave is European important archaeological site from Early Age. Boat trip on river Punkva and Macocha Abyss (138 m deep). On the way back, stop in the village of Krtiny and see the local church. It is one of the best samples of architect Giovanni Santini´s work.
