    • We first walk through Liben and Smichov, the old cadastral areas of Prague, learning about the region's history.
    • Next, we reach the Jerusalem Synagogue, an important site not just for the Jewish people, this is the largest synagogue in all of Prague.
    • Then we head to the Olsany and Plague Cemeteries, the harrowing mass grave where Prague's plague victims were buried hurriedly in 1680.
    • Lastly, we see the Jewish Quarters, better known as Josefov. This is the area where the Jewish people took shelter during the mass killings of the Holocaust in Prague.

We then head back to the metro station. This is the end of the tour.

  • The Jerusalem Synagogue is close to the metro that takes you to Olsany cemetery in five minutes and the walk to the cemetery is also only a couple of minutes.

  • The Plague Cemetery takes a long walk but altogether less than in Jewish quarters.

Tour Reviews

My friends and I contacted Willy on recommendation from Donna Setterquist who went with him to Krivoklat castle and Kutna Hora. We should have done it earlier as we saw with him much more than with free tour earlier. He met us in our hotel did not rush us and even took us by train to Pilsen brewery. His knowledge was true to his credentials in Tours by Locals where he was listed. I can only recommend.
