Drive outside the city along the mountainside road passing local villages, and Monte Verde to Norte Baía, where we will begin our trek along the contrasting coast, crystal blue warm waters, Saharan sand dunes, volcanic black mountains and rocks, passing lunar-like landscapes along to Praia Grande. Learn about our coastal beaches, sea life, and the culture of our people.

- Please bring decent footwear (you may want to bring slippers along for after the walk), a hat, sunscreen and water.

- Path quality: walk on the coast, sand, some areas of wet stones, and rocky, mostly flat, some incline on dunes
