    • Drive out of Cartagena towards Barú village at 8:00 AM. 

    • Visit two beautiful white sand beaches in the south of Barú Island at 11:45 AM.

    • Have a local lunch at 1:15 PM. 

    • Return to Cartagena at 3:15 PM.

    Approximate Boat Time: 30 minutes.

Physicality, Travel Style & Cultural Shock: 

  • These are our least demanding trips. These trips involve little activity and are suitable for people with a basic level of fitness and good health. The itinerary takes place in remote areas (with basic facilities), involve various types of transport, and unpaved roads. 

  • Please take into account that from Dec 26 to Jan 12, in Colombia, all the most famous beaches are busy (they’re public) but we will do our best to make sure you enjoy your beach time. 

  • Be prepared for potential variable weather conditions (rains from May to November).

  • Due to the nature of the activities undertaken in this trip, pregnant women, and children unaccompanied by their parents or legal guardians are not allowed.
