Leave at 10 am for Valparaiso from the port of San Antonio, Santiago or elsewhere. Bus tickets for this travel need to be arranged at the bus terminal. The buses are both air-conditioned and heated. Some of the buses also have TV facilities and WIFI connections.
Arrive at Valparaiso and catch a local electric bus to Plaza Sotomayor square.
Proceed on a short walk to get on a funicular ride uptown. Enjoy the city views and that of surrounding areas during this ride.
Stop for a local beer, wine, or pisco sour drink before riding back down the funicular ride.
Take a return bus from Plaza Sotomayor to the bus terminal.
