Avarua Historical Walking Tour
Put on your walking shoes & join us on this informative walking tour. The Avarua Historical Walking tour is a 1½ hour leisurely paced guided walk through the historical parts of Avarua, downtown. The tour is conducted by our knowledgeable guide who will trace the Cook Islands history from the Polynesian settlement of Rarotonga to the discovery and colonization by New Zealand administration, the missionaries and through to independence. The tour concludes at a nearby location with fruits and juice refreshments.
