Depart from Placencia, Stann Creek District. Explore the two Mayan ceremonial sites. Learn about the people, their culture, and history.
Head to the Maya owned Ixcacao chocolate factory. Not only do you get to sample the locally made liquid and solid chocolate, but you also get to have a go at making them. Make your very own chocolate the way the Mayas did!
An optional addition (US$ 10) to this tour is to visit a spice farm, Belize’s leading producer of black pepper and vanilla.
