Explore the highlights of Placencia, a beach resort on the Caribbean coast of Belize located at the southern tip of the Placencia Peninsula, known for its palm-lined beaches. Also, discover the Placencia Lagoon located between the peninsula and the mainland, home to manatees and saltwater crocodiles. Offshore, there are dive sites on the coral Belize Barrier Reef. To the north, the Garífuna community of Seine Bight is a hub for traditional drumming and dance.

Snorkeling & Sightseeing Adventure in Placenia expand_more
- Stop at Dive Shop to pick up snorkel equipment.
20 Minute Boat Ride to a private island.
Unload boat, listen to Island briefing, prepare to go snorkelling.
The tour guide will brief upon the type of marine life to be found, snorkel technique and etiquette, exit technique into water and entry into boat or shore.
Return to Island for a lunch break.
Cruise through Mangrove lagoons around Island, looking for Manatees & Wading Birds.
Back to Island to load up and head home to Placencia at 4:00 pm.
