  • Day 1: Arrival in Paro International Airport expand_more
    • Either you are flying from the Himalayan range, Kathmandu or over the southern foothills, Kolkata. But, it will be a fascinating journey towards our beautiful kingdom covered with forested hills. You will get to view the green forest mountains and valleys. On arrival at the airport, you will be well received by our representative, and after completion of airport formalities, there will be an interesting drive of 2 hours (55 km) towards the capital city of Bhutan, Thimphu.

    • Evening free, you will be taken into a hotel in Thimphu (3 Star and above) for overnight. If your arrival time is in the morning, then you can sightsee after lunch after checking in at the hotel.

  • Day 2: Sightseeing Thimphu to Paro expand_more
    • Morning: After breakfast, you will be taken to the Tashi-Cho-Dzong.

    • Visit the Folk and Textile Heritage Museums, a fascinating testimony of Bhutan’s living traditions. We can find a wide range of Bhutanese religious texts from the 17th century to date.

    • Head over to the National Library.

    • After lunch, drive to Paro. The valley of Paro is well known for its heavenly attractions.

    • Visit Ta-Dzong, built in the 17th century and was inaugurated as Bhutan’s National Museum in 1968.

    • After a while, walk down a hillside trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong, which has a long fascinating history.

    • In the evening, take a stroll around Paro main street for shopping.

  • Day 3: Departure expand_more
    • After breakfast, drive to the airport for a flight to your own destination.

Know before you go
  • Any foreign national travelling to Bhutan requires a valid visa and passport. Upon confirmation of your tour to Bhutan, we will process your visa, which will be ready within a working day of one week.

  • Carrying of tobacco products are not allowed [punishable offence to Bhutan].

  • All tourists visiting Dzongs and temples must be dressed appropriately; no half pants, sleeveless shirts, floaters, etc., are not allowed.

  • All tourists must be reminded by the Bhutanese guide at the time of the visit that there are certain areas where visitors are not allowed to take photographs.

  • Indian Rupee banknotes of denomination 500 and above are not accepted in Bhutan. In case of tourists visiting Bhutan, the bank notes shall be retained on entry to be returned upon exit.
