• Meet your local tour guide in your hotel lobby in Sofia.

• Proceed for a 2-hour drive to Bachkovo Monastery, which is known for its Medieval history arts.

• Take a 3-hour walking tour of Plovdiv to see the Old Town and the ancient Roman theatre in the afternoon. 

• Enjoy the beautiful Baroque, Antiquity, Middle Ages and Bulgarian Renaissance style 19th century Houses and monuments here.

• Check-in at the Hotel Renaissance (upon availability) in Plovdiv for an overnight stay in Plovdiv.

• Head up north towards Veliko Turnovo, which is the Bulgarian medieval capital and an impressive fortress. 

• Stop at the top attractions in Bulgaria like the Kazanlak Thracian Tomb, Shipka Memorial Church, and the Etara Open-air Museum.

• Visit the nearby village of Arbanassi. Here you will climb the Tsarevets hill to see this village. The oldest houses here are made of stone that resembles tiny models of fortresses. These houses have internal staircases and small windows that bring about the impression of fortress-like constructions. 

• Enjoy some amazing church frescoes at the Nativity Church and the St. Archangels Michael and Gabriel's church.  

• Witness an unforgettable sound and light performance over the fortress (optional upon availability). 

 Overnight stay will be in the same hotel at Veliko Tarnovo.

• Witness the magnificent Danube river, which is a border river between Bulgaria and Romania

• Visit the unique Ivanovo Rock Monasteries (UNESCO World Heritage Site) located 20 km from Ruse City. 

• Spend the rest of the day in Ruse City and see local attractions including the city centre.

• Head north to the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania in the morning. In the summer season, this trip is done through the Transfagarasan Road, a scenic high-altitude mountain pass.

• See the Monastery of Curtea de Argia and the medieval city of Sibiu on the way.

• Visit the famous Vlad Tepes Palace in Sighisoara (UNESCO World Heritage Citadel). 

• Spend some time at the picturesque Brasov village in the afternoon and explore the nearby attractions of the magnificent Black Tower, the Black Church and the Town Hall.

• Visit the majestic Bran Castle first thing in the morning. 

• Continue to Sinaia, the most famous Carpathian Resort with its famous Peles Castle (home of the Romanian Royal family).

• Visit the most famous attraction of the city like the Palace of Parliament, the Bucharest Arch de Triomphe, Royal Square, Press Square, and the Old Town.

• Enjoy shopping in the local markets of Bucharest. 

We will drop you off at your hotel in Bucharest, as this is the end of our guide services.
