Sofia - Kostenets Waterfalls expand_more
We start our trip from Sofia at 9 AM. The distance to the villas at Kostenets is around 80 km.
We park on the square near the Spa complex and begin our hiking experience to the Kostenets waterfalls. We reach the waterfalls in 15 minutes.
There we have a little break to enjoy the sight of the waterfall and the flora around it before going back to the square.
Then we take on the Eko hiking trail “Road of the Eagle” that goes 2.5 km in each direction. This will give you a solid workout, and you will certainly enjoy your time at the spa later.
Finally, the Spa is waiting for us with its hot spring water, and you can relax here in the indoor or outdoor pools.
If you are hungry, you can take lunch here at the Spa complex, or all of us could enjoy Bulgarian national cuisine in the centre of Kostenets village afterwards when we are on the way back to Sofia.
