Day 1: Arrival at Sofia/Plovdiv expand_more
Our guide welcomes you at the Sofia/Plovdiv Airport.
Transfer to Plovdiv – the second biggest city in the country and one of the main cultural centres of Bulgaria.

Day 2: Plovdiv to Galabovo expand_more
- Transfer to Galabovo, a place where horses' stable is present.
- Make a loop-like ride, passing along the small Kuklen Monastery.
- Travel back to Plovdiv and make a short stroll in the old quarters of the town in the afternoon.

Day 3: Galabovo to Lilkovo expand_more
- Start from Galabovo again, this time head south in the mountains, to reach Zdravets resort.
- Continue to the small village of Lilkovo, where we stay overnight.

Day 4: Lilkovo to Persenk Hut expand_more
- Continue the ride, passing through several tiny villages, following Varhovrah ridge with great panorama views, to reach the Persenk hut.
Stay for overnight.

Day 5: Persenk to Wonderful bridges to Orehovo village expand_more
- Ride to Orehovo for lunch and transfer to Chudnite Mostove – a unique rock formation in the heart of the mountain.
- Continue to Orehovo village, where we stay for overnight.

Day 6: Orehovo to Kosovo & Bachkovo Monastery to Kosovo expand_more
- From Orehovo, we head up to the ridge. Once we reach there, enjoy a nice gallop through deep woods and vast meadows of Biala Cherkva.
- Have lunch and then descend to Kosovo.
- An optional visit to Bachkovo Monastery: the second-largest Bulgarian Monastery.
Overnight stay in Kosovo.

Day 7: Kosovo to Plovdiv expand_more
- Enjoy breakfast, and head towards Zdravets hut, for lunch.
- Continue the ride and reach the meadows of Galabovo, where we say goodbye to the horses.
- Experience wine-tasting and an elective stop to see the "Red Church" in Perushtitsa, dating back to the late 5th–early 6th century on our way back to Plovdiv.

- After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Sofia/Plovdiv for departure.

Know before you go
- Most of the horses belong to the local East-Bulgarian breed with a mid-height of 1,50 cm, they are well known as thoughtful and tough, and are thus extremely well-adapted to the mountainous region of the Rodopi Mountains. The maximum weight limit of the riders is 95 kg.
- Western as standard & English saddles are available on request. A riding helmet is not mandatory.
- The beaches of Northern Greece (Halkidiki and Thassos) are even more closer than bedore after the new checkpoints in the Rhodope mountains were opened recently.
