Description
Climb the highest Mountain of Salzburg, Grossvenediger via an easy but physically challenging glacier journey. Starting in Neukirchen am Großvenediger, up to the Kürsinger Hütte and to the summit, pass through big crevasses and ice fields, one of the biggest of the country.

Day 1 : Kürsinger Hütte expand_more
- Meet at lunch time in Neukirchen am Großvenediger.
Take a taxi into the long valley of Obersulzbach.
Go on 2 hours easy walk up to the hut, and have a delicious dinner.

Day 2 : Summit of Grossvenediger expand_more
Starting early, see the dawn while putting on crampons for the glacier.
Travel for a couple of hours over big ice fields, jump over crevasses and finally reach the highest summit of Salzburg.
Return to the hut in the early afternoon for a cup of coffee and a delicious Apple strudel.
