Do I need a Permit to Enter into Annapurna Region?

Ans: Yes, you need a Permit. Two types of Permit - One permit from National Trust for Nature Conservation which cost USD 30$ PP and Second is TIMS (Trekkers Information Management System) which cost USD 10$PP.

Do I need a Guide and Porter?

Ans: Yes, you need a guide and porter to do this trek. Because you are going to high altitude. Further, when you trek with a guide, you can get extra mile information other than the book you read. Porter is essential for carrying your stuff or baggage whereas your trip will be enjoyable and will be out of stress journey. Also, porter a local poor people who will be very happy when he gets employment opportunities to carry your baggage.  An income that he generates during the trekking is useful to make their family happy that can fulfil their basic needs for the livelihood. Like; children educations, food etc.

What can be a perfect season to trek Annapurna?   

Spring Season (March-April-May):  Good time to visit. The time of flowers blooms and clear sky. 

Autumn Season (September-October-November): Best time to visit. The temperature will be moderate and the sky would remain clear.
