Explore the rich flora and fauna of the Torres del Paine National Park along the old path of Route 40 in a giant 4x4 drive. Learn all about Torres del Paine’s famous mountains while you enjoy a picnic at the Paine Waterfall. Admire the famous spots, like the Lake of the Swans and Nordenskjold High viewpoint, and go for a short hike to witness a memorable view from the Horns of Paine viewpoint.

    • Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location and depart from El Calafate. 
    • Head to Cancha Carrera's border and then enter Torres del Paine National Park through Laguna Amarga. Stop for a short hike.
    • Head towards the Paine Waterfall, where you will enjoy a picnic next to the Paine River with a view of the rocky towers. The lunch is outdoors (a box lunch). 
    • Continue the journey through the park with some photo stops (Lake of the Swans, Nordenskjold High Viewpoint), and later you will arrive at Salto Grande, where you will be hiking towards the Horns of Paine viewpoint next to Nordenskjold Lake.
    • Continue the ride to Pehoe Lake and, in the end, return to Calafate. 

    Tour timings: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (approximately)

    • Crossing the border with meat and fruit is prohibited. Argentinian and Chilean authorities may apply penalties.

    • Each passenger is responsible for carrying the correct documentation for crossing the border. A passport or visa, if applied, is necessary.
