10 Hours Walking tour itinerary for Cordoba & Quebrada del Condorito National Park: Seek Out The Endangered Andean Condors
Cordoba, Quebrada del Condorito National Park
Although located near the city of Cordoba and several other tourist towns, the Quebrada del Condorito National Park has remained scenically pristine due to its inaccessibility. Look out for the Carancho - a large bird of prey that inhabits the park and the endangered Andean Condors.
Drive from Córdoba city to La Pampilla to reach the entrance of the National Park.
Visit the visitors center at the Park entrance, and then walk 6 km along a trail to the North Balcony (more or less 3 hours).
On arrival, see the south wall of the ravine, where Condors usually stay.
After having lunch and bird watching, walk back to the visitors center and return to Córdoba.
