Description

During our 5 days we will hike in Armenian mountains for 2 days on moderate trails with duration of 2, 5 till 4 hours hike per day and another 3 days we will again get familiar with the Armenian historical and religious monuments, ancient culture and national cuisine. We will visit memorials, markets, temples, monasteries and many more to learn about the history.

  • Day 1: Sightseeing in Yerevan City expand_more

    • Meet your tour guide at the agreed-upon location.

    • Start the city tour from your hotel.

    • Visit Republic Square (central town square in Yerevan), Statue of Garegin Nzhdeh (Armenian national hero) and Buzand Street (a modern-day khachkar carver's workshop) with your Armenian tour guide.

    • Enjoy lunch. 

    • Head to Matenadaran (a museum of ancient manuscripts).

    • Stay overnight at your hotel.

  • Day 2: Sightseeing in Garni expand_more

    • Start your day trip from your hotel.

    • Make a photo stop at the Charents Arch. 

    • Hike from Garni Village to Garni Temple.

    • Explore Garni Temple and Geghard Monastery with your Armenian tour guide. 

    • Enjoy lunch.

    • Head back to Yerevan.

  • Day 3: Sightseeing in Khor Virap expand_more

    • Visit Khor Virap Monastery and Areni wine village.

    • Proceed to Noravank Monastery surrounded by red cliffs.

    • Visit Goshavank Monastery, once famous for its library founded in the 13th century and Sevan Lake.

  • Day 5: Sightseeing in Vernissage expand_more

    • Drive to Gum dry fruit market and see Vernissage, a large open-air market.

    • Return to your hotel.
