Visit the ancient village of Tomorr, which is named after the imposing Mount Tomorr and serves as a melting pot of history, culture, and tribal relations between the Abaz Aliu and Bektashi indigenous people. Go for a scenic hike up the Holy Mountain and the Stradom alpine valley, and return having seen the highs, lows, and incredible hospitality of the region.

Day 1: Berat, Roshnik, Dardhe, and Sotira waterfall expand_more
- Meet your professional local driver in Berat early in the morning and set out for an unforgettable, scenic drive towards Roshnik.
Enjoy a 10-minute cafe break in Roshnik, a famous village with a rich history. The village is known as the origin of The Köprülü family, who provided six grand viziers to the Ottoman Empire, with several other members becoming high-ranking officers.
Resume picturesque drive towards Dardha, a 700-year-old village located in the heart of the Tomorr National Park. Today, the park is home to only five families, hospitable and far from modernity and subsist on farming.
At Dardha, meet a local guide who will lead you on a 2-hour trek to an amazing waterfall called Sotira. Originating from a cave, it is known as the most beautiful waterfall in Albania. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfall and spend some time exploring the region's wealth of nature, caves, birds, and animals before trekking back to Dardha.
Enjoy the warmth of the campfire in Dardha, drink some Raki (optional), and stargaze until you fall asleep.

Day 2: Trekking in Tomorr expand_more
- Start early in the morning for a full-day trek through the stunning expanse of the National Park.
- After trekking for 3 hours, arrive in Tomorr, an old village with a rich history dating back to 1500 years. Enjoy a warm welcome by the locals, followed by a glass of Raki at a nearby cafe.
- Explore the old houses in the region and appreciate the traditional way of living as you interact with the local population.
Enjoy a hike up in the Holy Mountain.
Visit the ruins of a 1200-year-old castle and enjoy bird watching, walking, and exploring rustic life in the region.

Day 3: Another Scenic Hike in Tomorr Mountain expand_more
- Enjoy early morning breakfast in the nap of nature while enjoying the wind and the views before saying goodbye to the village locals.
Start trekking to Lybesha, which is also an old village with a history that goes back by 500 years. This trek will be more intensive but enjoyable and will involve going up to the alpine valley of Stardom, located 900m over sea level.
Enjoy a scrumptious lunch before your final departure back to Berat city.

This is an authentic village tour where you will get to sleep, eat, and drink in accommodations offered by locals. The simple, rusting dwelling we will stay in will not include air-conditioning. However, each room will have a fireplace.
