DAY 01

Airport - Tirana (± 30 km)

Skanderbeg square

  • Welcome and assistance on arrival by the local guide. 

  • Transfer to Tirana.

  • Visit the mosque Bey E'them built in 1789 and the clock tower built in 1830. 

  • In Central Boulevard, see the Government Buildings, Will Hall Art Gallery and the University. 

  • Dinner in a traditional restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02

Tirana - Kruja - Shkodra (± 120 km)


  • After breakfast, stroll to town around Skanderbeg Square. 

  • Departure for Kruja where we visit the Citadel and the Skanderbeg Museum (Albanian national hero). 

  • Free time in the medieval bazaar. 

  • We drive to Shkodra, the largest city in northern Albania and close to the border with Montenegro. 

  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03

Shkodra - Durres - Berat (± 175 km)

  • BeratiAfter breakfast, tour of the old city of Shkodra and Rozafa Castle. 

  • Departure for Durres, located on the Adriatic coast, where we visit the largest amphitheater in the Balkans and the Archaeological Museum.

  • Breakfast in a local restaurant. 

  • Continue to Berat, ' The City of a Thousand Windows.'' 

  • Accommodation at the hotel. 

  • Dinner in a traditional restaurant with wine tasting.

DAY 04

Berat - Gjirokastra (± 150 km)

  • The Castle of GjirokastraVisit Berat: the citadel and the museum with its Onufri icons. The inner city of Berat is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage. The city is divided by the Osum River.

  • Depart for Gjirokastra, a real museum city, nicknamed '' the City of a Thousand Steps. 

  • Lunch. 

  • Gjirokastra is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage and is a rare example of a well-preserved Ottoman town, located in a valley and dominated by its castle. It is also the hometown of former Albanian communist leader Enver Hoxha and Ismail Kadare of the writer. 

  • Raki tasting. 

  • After the visits, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05

Gjirokastra - Butrint - Saranda (± 75 km)

  • Blue Eye Departure to Saranda stopping at the blue eye ('The Blue Eye'), a deep natural source of almost 50 meters, with water arrived 7m³ / s and 10 °. 

  • Continue to Saranda, the southernmost city in the country. 

  • After the city tour, lunch at a local restaurant. 

  • Visit Butrint, an archaeological site, with monuments dating from the period of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Venetian, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 

  • The site and the museum are surrounded by a picturesque lagoon. 

  • Dinner in the Castle of Lekursi. 

  • Overnight at hotel in Saranda.

DAY 06

Saranda - Himara - Llogara - Vlora (± 145 km)

  • ButrintiToday we follow the Ionian coast and pass by Porto Palermo, stopping at the castle built by Ali Pasha Tepelana and Himara. 

  • Lunch at a local restaurant in the National Park Llogara. 

  • Our final goal is the city of Vlora, located on the Adriatic coast. 

  • Free time to enjoy the sea. 

  • Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07

Vlora - Apollonia - Ardenica - Tirana (± 170 km)

  • In the morning we visit the archaeological site of Apollonia, an ancient Greek colony, with the monastery of St. Mary.

  • ApolloniaBreakfast in a local restaurant. 

  • Continue to Ardenica where we visit the monastery dating from the 15th century, it is still active. It was here in 1451 Skanderbeg's marriage was celebrated. 

  • Back to the Albanian capital Tirana. 

  • Dinner in a local restaurant. 

  • Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 08

Tirana - Airport (± 30 km)

  • After breakfast, transfer to the airport and departure by scheduled flights.
