Start your tour with the mosaic of the National Museum on Skanderbeg Square.
Visit the Et’hem Bey Mosque, and move towards the elegant government buildings at the end of the square. This area houses various ministries built in the 1930s during the rule of King Zog, as well as the Fine Arts Gallery, Hotel Dajti, and Rinia Park.
Walk through the wide streets of Bulevardi Zhan D’Ark and Bulevardi Bajram Curri and cross the bridge over the Lana River to arrive at the ‘Pyramid’.
Next, head to the Prime Minister’s Building which is also the ex-Communist Party headquarters. In front of it is the Parliamentary Offices. Beyond Rruga Ismail Qemali is the Hotel Rogner Europapark.
See the Palace of Congresses, which was built for Party congresses during the communist regime in Albania (nowadays, the Palace hosts concerts, festivals and fairs). You will admire these sites along with your guide.
At the end of the main boulevard, you will reach Mother Teresa Square, named to honour the most famous Albanian nun of the 20th century. Around this square are the Archaeological Museum, the Art Academy, and Polytechnic University, which your guide will show you around.
