Description

Sign up for an adventure tour to Mount Dajti (1613m), a mountain on the edge of Tirana and hike up its Tujani Peak. Walk along the lush green trails and witness beautiful mountainscapes. Also, Dajti mountain offers ecstatic views of the capital and the Adriatic Sea. Lastly, explore the BunkArt 1 museum, a massive Cold War bunker on the outskirts of Tirana.

    • Meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and drive up the mountain through the asphalted road. 
    • After we enter the national park, stop at the cable car's upper station start walking. Our day destination is Tujani Peak, at 1524m above sea level. The trail stretches through dense pine and beech trees, and part of the trail goes near a gravel road built to drive to the military area.
    • Reach the top of Tujani peak, and you will be amazed by the views of Bovilla lake in the north, the national park in the east, and the Adriatic Sea in the west. After taking a break and some photos, we head back through the same trail. The trail is 4.8 km long both ways, and the level is considered easy, with a max elevation gain of 450m.
    • After returning to the starting point, we can enjoy lunch at any local restaurant. 
    • Later, go to BunkArt 1 museum. This is the biggest nuclear bunker built during the Cold War in the 70s in Albania. The bunker is located underground of Mount Dajti, and it's covered with around 130 rooms. Inside the museum, you will learn more about the interesting history of the communist area in Albania.  
    • In the afternoon, be back at your hotel and finish the tour.
