Depart from the establishment/hotel with your tour guide and start the walk from the bottom of Adderley Street.
Attend the opening ceremony of The Castle doors as done at the beginning of the colony.
Walk up to Buitenkant Street, turn into Roeland Street, and head to Parliament and The Company Gardens.
Arrive in The Company Gardens to explore the Gardens and surroundings.
Eat a light lunch at the restaurant in The Gardens.
Visit the Slave Lodge, a South African social history museum and St. George's Cathedral, known as the “People’s Cathedral” for its role in the resistance against apartheid; it is also the oldest cathedral in Southern Africa.
End of the tour at the Greenmarket Square.
