    • Go to Polonnaruwa, the ruined city filled with statues, monuments and temples.

    • Climb the 5th-century Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a citadel of unusual beauty rising just about 200m from the jungle. Enjoy the view from the top to see the wonderful countryside surrounding it.

  • Day 3- Sigiriya to Kandy expand_more

    • Explore the wonderful city of Kandy and get a chance to visit the famous spice gardens on the way.

    • Walk through the historic Kandy town and bazaar, the arts and crafts centre, a gem museum and the famous Temple of the Tooth Relic.

    • Then get a chance to enjoy a cultural show in the evening.

  • Day 4- Departure expand_more

    • Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a conservation and education centre started in 1975 for orphaned elephants.

    Transfer back to the chosen hotel (B).
