Almaty - Charyn Canyon expand_more
- Better start the tour early in the morning, at 7:00 am, or 7:30 am. Why so early? This requires the maximum coverage of the two canyons at the Charyn Canyon and its viewing platforms.
- 11:00: In addition, after the heat begins in the Canyons, we will pass by the cool Valley of Castles. Then, we will go down to the Canyon. A walk to the Eco-Park will take about 40 minutes, possibly 1-1.5 hours. On the way, we can shoot on the camera or phone the stunning views of different shapes of the Canyon that was formed more than 12 million years ago.
- Walk on the bottom of the Canyon, observe the whole atmosphere of a very ancient era. You can feel completely independent here since there is no access to the Internet and mobile communications.
- 12:30: After the walk, we stop at the river "Charyn" in the Canyon area. I can offer you a cup of coffee or tea, a few sandwiches, fruits and cookies. I will tell you a little bit about the history of this place!
- After lunch, you will have some free time around one hour, take in some scenic captures of the Canyon area.
- 14:30: In the afternoon, we will go to the panoramic platform on the Jeep, which will reveal magnificent landscapes of all the valleys of the Canyon.
- 16:30: In the evening, we will start our return journey to Almaty.
- On the way, at the request of the guest, we can check-in at the local "Baiseit" village, where you can taste barbecue (Shashlik pieces of sheep meat cooked on charcoal).
- 18:30: Arrival at Almaty city.

Know before you go
- In the summer season, during the daytime, extreme temperatures can be around + 35 + 45, whereas in winter, temperatures are -8 -15 degrees Celsius.

- Highlights: Every season is beautiful in its own way! The tour duration is 10-12 hours, but at the client's individual request, it can be done as a 2-day or a 3-day tour. All this is discussed with the guest individually! The organization of the campground, ready to eat at stake and the most important part of enjoying beautiful, clear views of the Canyon. If anyone wants to stay overnight in comfortable conditions, a mini-hotel can be used during all conditions. In addition to the Charyn canyon, you can visit other Canyons such as Temirlik Canyon, Yellow Canyon or the Bestomak Canyon. Make this trip special as you stay overnight in the Canyon area in a tent to see the sunset, the starry skies and have morning breakfasts on the top of the Canyon. All this is really cool!
