Feel the real Amazon, join native guides and visit the forest to meet its residents from Manaus. Hop on a motorised boat, relish a waterfall and camp in the jungle. Take jungle walks to spot wildlife, fish for piranhas, go canoeing, meet with caiman alligators while surviving in the Amazon Jungle!

  • Day 1: Manaus - Rio Preto da Eva expand_more
    • Pick up from hotel at 07.00 am, go to see the meeting of the two rivers, and continue travelling for about 1hour to a small city Rio Preto da Eva with about 30,000 inhabitants.

    • Arrive and see the typical market with some fruits.

    • Afterwards, take a small motorized boat, navigating down the creek Rio Preto, with a wonderful view, maybe by chance, you will see some Toucans and Sloths. The trip takes about 1h 40 minutes.

    • Reach your destination (native home); this is the place where you will have lunch. 

    • At 2.30 pm, take your belongings like a mosquito net, mosquito spray (repellent), long pants, long sleeves shirt, shoes for hiking, hammock, swimming clothes, towel and flash-light with you.

    • Before leaving, your Amazon tour guide will give instructions while you walk.

    • Then, you are off on your Jungle survival adventure, where evening gets you; this is where you will have your first experience making fire, preparing food, camp, and tying your hammocks. 

  • Day 2: Get ready for Survival Trip expand_more
    • Wake up at 07.00 am, prepare breakfast.

    • Then, you will leave your belongings at the camp as you and your guide go on a hike to observe animals, birds and find food.

    • Come back to your camp to prepare lunch.

    • Take all belongings, leave the camp and continue to the waterfall; there, you will make up your camp, swim in the waterfall and prepare dinner. 

  • Day 3: Jungle Walk expand_more
    • Wake up to prepare your breakfast. 

    • Then, swim in the waterfall before leaving the camp. 

    • Continue the Jungle walk back to the native home; on the way, your guides will show plants and trees (herbs) used as medicines and how to climb trees to get fruits by using palm leaves or bark from a tree to make ropes.

    • Arrive at a native home for lunch.

    • At about 3.00 pm, you will go with your guide canoeing in small wooden canoes, to observe some birds and explore the places. 

    • Come back to the native home late afternoon.

    • Afterwards, your guides will take you in the small wooden canoes, seeing how they catch fish using spears and arrows. You will have the experience too. 

  • Day 4: Continue Jungle Walk expand_more
    • Relish breakfast at 07.00 am. 

    • Leave the Local home to spend your other two days and one night along the river, going in the motorized boat; on the way, your guides will make lunch for you. This is where you will fish Piranhas and observing birds. 

    • At 6.30 pm, as it gets dark, you will have a chance to see your guide capture caiman (alligator) with his hand, make photos, then let it go back to nature.

    • Return to the place where you will make your camp. 

  • Day 5: Jungle Walk and Swimming in River Rio Preto expand_more
    • Wake up at 07:00 a.m. to prepare your breakfast. 

    • At 08.00 am, leave the place to go back to the native home to prepare lunch. 

    • In the motorized boat, leave the place back to Rio Preto da Eva and head back to Manaus.

    • Go directly to your hotel or the airport.
