As Tourist Guide, oftentimes I am hired for both a couple of tourists for single day trip such as Highland Tour or trekking and group of tourists for multiple days of traveling.The tourists can be overseas or domestic.In 2010 I got Open Water certified in Scuba Diving.I also can accompany tourists snorkeling as their buddy.Sometimes I am hired as tour escort or tour leader out of North Sulawesi, such as to Bali, Lombok, Makassar, Jogjakarta, the rest of Java, Kalimantan, Komodo Island, Papua and so on.There are various activities in the program such as trekking - I mentioned previously, Japanese cave exploring, climbing mountains - going to the crater, go to Wild Life Sanctuary, visiting the zoo, visiting villages, dinner out, bird watching, and sometimes there are also tourists demanding for personal care and attention to which sometimes I agreed.There are many type of requests from personal needs to the untold ones.I have a favorite quote "Serve with heart".In all my services, I always spice it up with personal touch.I think when people traveling they wanted to meet friendly people who will show everything up eagerly.I believe that when traveling tourist want to be happy and enjoy everything, they definitely expect exciting places as well as laughing and smiling people.They expect new situation from their routine.That is what I am trying to create.However apart of how I believe, there are also many obstacles on the way such as 'different tongue, different taste', meaning that sometimes I face hard times to communicate with new tourists.It was not easy to perform with new people.Maybe because of trust issue or maybe something else.But then I learnt how to adapt with such situation.'The older a coconut, the more oil it produces', the more I lead the tour, the more I understand how to adapt with different perspectives.
